Is not a year I'm very familiar with. I haven't tested it,would be pretty hard with that open thermostat hole in the top. If its prewar Cadillac,I;m interested even tho I don't have a 41. Looks like a little flux residue weeps out from under the plate,the white stuff.

The old guy said it was 1941-48 but someone else looked at and 41 only.
